Successful showcase as part of UFI Voctech week at London's RSA
A great day in London with fellow UFI Voctech recipients and our client partner for the project, Enginuity.
The event held at the Royal Society for the Arts in London was the culmination of 9 months work. The event saw the gathering of this years successfully seed-funded projects.
The diversity of edtech innovation was fantastic with a range of novel learning management systems, content development and specialist topical training solutions being presented.
The event was attended by the great and good from the education technology space.
As well as investors, BrightGame attracted interest from forward-thinking Colleges, trade bodies and associations as well as topical training companies creating innovative learning solutions.
BrightGame, the joint research and development project funded by UFI Voctech was very popular.
The system which is now a full MVP (Minimum Viable Product), enables non-experts to build their own Serious learning games or SLG’s.
These can be applied to edutainment, tutor support, knowledge testing and formative assessment.
Attendees were shown games being designed for a variety of applications by trainers and educators themselves using the platform.
At the event interest in game creation project developments was secured from colleges (for tutor support), training organisations and business associations offering courses and awarding. The team is now exploring opportunities with Social charities, Colleges and associations.
A new enterprise has been formed as a result of the initiative with members of the product development team. The new business is called SkillsPlay Limited. To learn more about BrightGame you can now visit the initiative’s website at www.brightgame.com.
